We have heard much about the important work being done to get girls interested in pursuing careers in the areas science, technology, engineering and math (#STEM) but now the US space agency, NASA, is looking to do the same for high school students who have #autism, learning and other #disabilities. Specifically, NASA is partnering with the District of Columbia Public School system and their transition program. The goal of this program is to provide #mentoring opportunities that could lead to summer #internships at NASA.
Looking forward to seeing the outcomes of this exciting new program.
