Wal-Mart, in working with En-Vision America, has announced a pilot program in which Talking Prescription Containers will be available for any U.S. Wal-Mart customer who is blind, through their prescription mail order program. It will also be available in three retail locations. As far as I know, this is the first time that a U.S. national pharmacy retailer has piloted talking prescription technology on a national basis. Congratulations to Wal-Mart!
Springboard would like to hear from any Wal-Mart customer who is currently using this service and willing to tell us about the experience.
