On Air Lingus flight from Shannon, Ireland to Edinburgh, Scotland this morning, there was a group of travelers with intellectual disabilities with two chaperones and one elderly man with significant physical disabilities. Because it was a commuter flight we had to climb steps to board (on line in the cold and rain) and because of limited baggage capacity and lots of carry-on luggage there was a bit of added confusion. I would like to commend these Air Lingus flight attendants and terminal gate staff in how they treated everyone with dignity and respect and just the utmost professionalism. Other airlines should take notice.
