With so many of Springboard’s clients being U.S. Federal Contractors, we thought it was very important to inform everyone that the U.S. Department of Labor has proposed a new rule that would require federal contractors and subcontractors to set a hiring goal of having 7 percent of their workforces be people with disabilities, among other requirements. The department's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) invited public comment on this proposal in the Dec. 9 edition of the Federal Register.
