In California, “back to school” has special significance this year…

Especially for students with disabilities and their families.

On July 14th a bill was signed into law that requires California public schools to include the history of the disability rights movement in social studies and history lessons, otherwise known as the Fair, Accurate, Inclusive and Respectful (FAIR) Education Act.

So, where are the other 49 states on this issue? Or for that matter, where is corporate America in terms of making known, the successes of employees with disabilities? Just something to consider.
