Been driving in Europe this week on the left side of the road but on the right side of the car, the exact opposite of how we drive in the U.S. It's a very unnerving experience, especially with all the roundabouts and plenty of cars speeding by at high speeds. It got me thinking about individuals who have Autism, significant learning disabilities or others who suddenly have to navigate a new environment such as a new job, crowds such as at a shopping center or train station or other experience that to the rest of us seems quite ordinary. I believe that perspective is everything and I certainly got some this week.
