The July – September 2012 issue of the Australian Indigenous Health Bulletin, includes a report (this is actually the third report), The Disability 2010-11: comparing performance across Australia on the National disability agreement. The National disability agreement has three outcomes which aim to achieve the objective that people with disability and their care-givers have an enhanced quality of life and participate as valued members of the community. One of the key findings of this report is that nationally, the employment to population ratio for people with disability remained unchanged and was significantly lower than people without disability. Western Australia was one of the exceptions as it was reported to have significantly increased its employment to population ratio for people with disability.
